My main influence for my typography is the opening title page for Blue Velvet the Movie : By David Lynch

I like how the old fashioned scroll typography is a good representation of the time, and how old fashioned views of sex has always been so prominent.  Even though my publication takes us through the different areas of sex and the emotional effect attached to these, sex is always going to be a taboo topic and one that is overdeveloping throughout the times

after selecting the fonts above I felt were the most inspired by Blue velvets opening title page - my three favourites are:

(I conducted some primary research with friends and family to confirm which on average represented the film typeface the most)

just a fun text to put a the back of the publication possibly ? like it is a publication that can be bought from a shop

- the more spaced out letterforms in the barcodes typography is the one I will utilise

I want to write something sexual - quote from blue velvet ?
