I realised the blue was getting too dark too
quick so I decided to lighten up these images
I wanted the typography to follow a grid but loosly still. This is why the grid is larger. There is areas where it snaps to the grid and other not too show the cracks that are beginning to emerge. Some of the text is rigid and straight lined, and others are looser and breaking rules. There is still some hyphens ( notice the on in ' Dorothy Vallens ' to show that she is a broken woman, almost foreshadowing
I added grain as it makes the velvet texture come to life and become more realistic
used to compare
- still not decided which one I prefer
I like this one the most as its just hinting towards sex and still keeping it feeling free and flirty. Normally a lover will wear there best. lingerie for the sexual partner to excite sex.
- also shows the blue velvet material really well
- like how the text is on each leg - feels like there a little more structure which is what I am slowly increasing within the grid layouts
