these are all scans of publications I receive through the post from my subscription with stack magazines. Each magazine is completely different and are from different art studios , which makes me appreciate the power of layout, paper stock and ink. The physical size of the publication and the power of imagery throughout is also very visually engaging.

I really like the addition of written text within the spreads above. It gives the images, without this, wouldn't feel as intimate and personal. This is a technique I could use within my publication, as sex is such an intimate activity and I could create a moving image element to this : by showing the text actually being physically written
I really like the image that falls over the double page spread.

Offtherails mag has been a staple
favourite for me for a while now. I love
there design style and how they use such a mix of mediums such as illustration, photography and collage.
above and below are two different mags that both show examples of different grid layouts extremely well. With some showing traditional column text layout, to others with mixture of fonts used throughout. And then a lot follow the curvature of the images, and present experimental layout which I throughly enjoy due to my more abstract take on design with distorted visuals and moving image. I also love the three dimensional elements, which is something I will definitely be including within my publication imagery as I love using blender and nomad sculpt.
