Wombo Ai is an app that creates imagery through augmented reality. Linking my AI element of the moving video with the actual imagery within the spreads. It works by layering up thousands of photos from the internet that are chosen from specific words you type into the search engine. Therefore from my plans of each double page spread, representing the journey of sex with blue velvet as reference, I plucked out words from my quotations and specific sexual associations I am portraying on that specific page spread to create computer generated visual representations of those words.
I tried Turing the image black and white and then changing the colour on photoshop to fit more to the blue theme. However the filters don't have enough opacity to create a good lighter colour pay off and has segments that are very dark
But then I tried aftereffects after photomoshing and making the jpeg into a video file, and it was even harder to have control over the colour. So the best workflow out of them both is photoshop and then just using lighter Ai imagery. I do want to have the imagery more close and and personal for the intimacy and romantic sexual themes at the start of the book so this might make it easier

- Ive divided this scene up into ten pieces, one for each double page spread to represent the journey my publication is taking you through
I wanted to make the type layout loose and free
- representing the congenital, intimate version of sex
- the type follows no strict rules, even has hyphens to represent the true lack of control

but kept getting lost within the imagery
so black worked the best
I really like both imagery in these for the final screenshot for the double page spread. But opening the publication I want it to be visually obvious what it is about and the imagery of the lips is immediately all telling
Both are my favourite type layouts, so I am finding it very hard to choose
- but I think for now before I experiment print I prefer the one on the bottom right
- As I think the typography seems more striking and a good opening page to my publication
I decided to change the digital handwriting text to scanned as it feels even more personal
- I love the loosens and flexibility of writing freely
- brings a nice texture to the page also
- represents free sexual experience
